ABLS Executive Director wins award

Congratulations! We’re writing to let you know that you have been selected as one of the “50 Most Influential Business People of Color” in the Newton-Needham MetroWest region. Our distinguished panel of judges selected you from close to 200 nominations. Your name and photo will appear in a print booklet and on a web site to be released on Nov. 12 with others who, like yourself, are boldly envisioning, creating, and transforming the future of Greater Boston’s inner western suburbs, while serving as role models for our next generation of leaders. We will also be hosting a virtual event on Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. celebrating our honorees with a panel discussion examining issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in the west suburban business community. We’ll have more details about this event next week but hope you’ll be able to attend. The goal of the Newton-Needham MetroWest 50 Most Influential Business People of Color project is to showcase the individuals and employers who are making a positive contribution to the economic and social fabric of our west suburban businesses and nonprofits. We also want it to be a way to start a conversation about where we fall short and how we can do better. We’re thrilled to be honoring you and will be following up with more details soon. For now, please send us a JPEG version of your headshot as soon as you can (but no later than noon Thursday. Oct. 29) so that we may use it in our forthcoming publication. Also include your postal address so we can be sure to mail you a copy of our printed publication. (Send both your headshot and postal address to info@nnchamber.com And be sure to mark your calendar for Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. Congratulations again.
