ABLS wins Family Favorite for 7th year!

Dear ABLS Family, We are delighted to announce that ABLS has won Boston Parent’s Paper’s Family Favorite award for the seventh consecutive year. And what a year this has been! A year ago, there were many decisions that we did not give much time or thought. When we needed groceries, one of us went to the store. Now we must decide: do we order curbside pickup, or delivery, or put on a mask and go in person? The decisions are big and small. As the beginning of the school year approaches, you may be deciding whether and how to send your child to school and what kind of services they will be receiving. ABLS will continue to offer home based, virtual, and center based services. Attached please find a list of group offerings for the fall. We are also introducing: -Learning Pods: A group of children share a therapist and meet in one of the homes in order to obtain the socialization and other benefits of group learning. The therapeutic components of these services are covered by insurance. -Academic Tutoring: Following an initial Learning Profile, your child’s academic needs will be assessed and an Individualized Academic Plan will be developed. This service is not covered by insurance but your local district may agree to fund it if you are owed compensatory hours. Please let us know if you would like to schedule a time to discuss your plans for the Fall. As always, we will be giving priority to existing families. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children!
